The task was to engage in dialogues with national delegations from various parts of the world to understand the adverse impact, mitigation and adaptation strategies related to climate change better. Accordingly, Alok Gupta (in the capacity of climate change expert) was involved to engage in formal dialogues with official representations from countries, development bank and global NGOs. The ranks included heads of state, minister of environment, UN officials, heads of global NGOs and so on.
