IORS is an annual international exhibition and summit of the oil and gas industry, and provides an platform for interaction with senior leaders in the oil and gas sector. It also discusses the alternative energy options and future commercial energy requirements of India. In the 2016 edition, Envecologic conducted the Technical Session on the topic How Far Is India From Its 2022 Solar Targets. The session discussed the salient features of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission which seeks to generate 100 GW of solar power by 2022, and where do we stand as of now with respect to our targets. The summit also witnessed Mr. Alok R. Gupta chair and moderate the panel discussion on Subsurface Waste Management and Sustainability.
